- Category: About Us
Welcome to Broxtowe Ramblers Website. We're part of the Ramblers, the charity that helps everyone, everywhere enjoy walking. We're dedicated to looking after paths, leading walks and encouraging everyone to get outside and discover how walking boosts your health and your happiness.
The Broxtowe area of Nottinghamshire includes Attenborough, Beeston, Chilwell, Cossall, Eastwood, Greasley, Kimberley, Nuthall, Stapleford, Toton, Trowell and Watnall.
We have a regular walks programme with walks on Wednesdays and Sundays; these walks vary between 4-5 miles and 10-11 miles in length. There is often a choice of walks on Wednesdays, all walks are led by volunteers. Leaders details are on the Walks Finder. There is no need to book but please choose a shorter walk if you are new to walking.
There are also coach trips and other social activities.
Our photos are on Facebook accessed via the icon on the right side of this page.
We welcome new walkers of all ages and abilities, so come and join us!
Broxtowe Ramblers will be hosting Nottinghamshire Area AGM in 2017. This will be at Greasley Parish Hall near Eastwood.
The coordinators are now requesting walks for the next programme Jan to end of April 2017. Please send walks to Susan (weekends) and Ken (Wednesdays). Thanks to all our hard working walk leaders.
