Welcome to Broxtowe Ramblers Website. We're part of the Ramblers, the charity that helps everyone, everywhere enjoy walking. We're dedicated to looking after paths, leading walks and encouraging everyone to get outside and discover how walking boosts your health and your happiness.
The Broxtowe area of Nottinghamshire includes Attenborough, Beeston, Chilwell, Cossall, Eastwood, Greasley, Kimberley, Nuthall, Stapleford, Toton, Trowell and Watnall.
We have a regular walks programme with walks on Wednesdays and Sundays; these walks vary between 4-5 miles and 10-11 miles in length. There is often a choice of walks on Wednesdays, all walks are led by volunteers. Leaders details are on the Walks Finder. There is no need to book but please choose a shorter walk if you are new to walking.
There are also coach trips and other social activities.

Upcoming walks include Sat 27th May Derby walk from the Guildhall at 10am, Sun 28th May Sutton in Ashfield from Idlewells at 1pm and Mon 29th May Giltbrook from IKEA carpark at 2pm. There is a full Re-Enactment Walk on Sunday 4th June, this is 14miles starting at South Wingfield outside Yew Tree pub at 9am. Network Rail intends to close 3 pedestrian crossings in Attenborough, these are Barratts Lane (No1 crossing), Long Lane and the nature Reserve crossing in Meadow Lane. Our Footpaths Officer has this matter in hand, see latest Committee minutes.
